Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District (TX) has implemented ClassLink to create fast, easy, secure access to digital learning resources for the district’s 117,000 teachers and students. With more than 6,000 single sign-on connectors and the comprehensive use of open technology standards, ClassLink is the most inclusive single sign-on platform in education today and is now available to everyone within the district.

Two district tech leaders share the steps they’ve taken to give every student access to the digital resources they need. Four years ago, our schools in Pickens County, South Carolina had funding approved for a 1:1 initiative that we called Tech It Home.

Interoperability is increasingly important as schools and districts continue their digital transitions. Ideally, educators shouldn't have to manually upload data between multiple systems, and multiple sign-ons shouldn't be necessary. The divides between technology should, basically, be invisible for maximum benefit.
