Iowa, January 22, 2020 — ClassLink and Iowa’s Area Education Agencies (AEAs) have partnered to make it easier for educators and students throughout the state to use critical AEA applications and systems.

Through a new portal featuring ClassLink’s Single Sign-On functionality, all students and educators across Iowa can now easily find and use the AEA’s online professional development and teaching and learning applications.

“We are very excited about the partnership with ClassLink and Iowa’s Area Education Agencies. This will result in better statewide access to AEA applications and resources and more time spent on instruction in the classroom,” explains Evan Abbey, Project Director for Iowa AEA.

Educators and students will use one login to access systems such as AEA SCOUT, a new portal that houses high quality digital learning resources, AEA’s personalized learning system for students, Iowa's statewide Learning Management System, and the state’s professional learning portal.

With the new system, educators save time with a central place to access these tools and resources. In addition, AEAs can ensure they have the necessary data and information to provide students with critical learning support as quickly as possible.

"Through this partnership, Iowa AEA Online, along with school districts across the state, can ensure digital resources, and the tools to manage those resources, are seamlessly accessible to educators and students." says Michele Moore, Director of Instructional Technology & State Initiatives for ClassLink.  “We are thrilled to provide students and staff with a solution that will increase classroom productivity and positively impact student learning outcomes.”

Additionally, ClassLink and Iowa’s AEAs have collaborated to bring discounted pricing for local schools interested in a full implementation of ClassLink. ClassLink provides single sign-on to thousands of apps and much more including:

  • ClassLink LaunchPad - End the painful student login process. Save time and cut confusion with single sign-on to a library of 6,000+ connectors.
  • ClassLink Roster Server - Deliver class rosters to all of your digital learning resources instantly and securely using open data standards.
  • ClassLink Analytics - Make informed purchasing and training decisions with access to usage data for all of the digital resources in your district
  • ClassLink OneSync - Reduce the time it takes to create and manage student and staff accounts with secure, automated account provisioning.

Students and teachers will have access to the new AEA Online portal, powered by ClassLink, in 2020, while those interested in purchasing ClassLink for their local district can request a demo today.
