You’ll leave this talk ready to start using data to improve digital resource engagement and learning in your school system.

The years 2020/21 have been catalysts for change in education. It is time for the greatest reset of all time. Our framework for education has been rebooted. We will never go back to the way things were. We can move forward now with a new landscape, a new framework. This workshop will be an intense, high-spirited conversation about what it is going to take to move forward including with communication, social and emotional learning, and a new framework! During the hands-on workshop we will lay the foundation, layer by layer, putting the pieces together to help rebuild the structure of education including cybersecurity, trust, single sign-on, all-in-one access to resources from any device-from anywhere, data analytics, continuous improvement, and strategic partnerships. Starting from findings collected from ISTE 2021, participants will divide into groups to construct and continuously improvement the framework which will then be used in future EdTech design initiatives. All workshops are BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). Participants are responsible for bringing a wifi enabled device with all workshop software/apps downloaded before attending.

From using data to make sound decisions to budgeting for the unknown and unexpected we can learn from each other to embrace the future!  Join veteran EdTech leader Shery Abshire, experienced CTO Eileen Belastock, and early career CTO Suzan Brandt in an interactive panel discussion facilitated by CoSN Early Career K-12 CTO Academy leader, Donna Williamson.
