Product Manager

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead all phases of development of our award winning Single Sign on Launchpad. This person will work closely with the CTO. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who will come up to speed quickly and independently in our fast-paced environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Plan and execute an incremental and iterative software development process
  • Oversee bi-weekly product updates during off hours
  • Participate in regular code reviews and architecture reviews
  • Strive for high quality and rapid output through the use of agile software development best practices
  • Effectively communicate project information to key stakeholders
  • Plan by understanding the details (effort, risk, priority) of remaining work committed for a release
  • Contribute ideas to continually improve the team’s productivity and code quality 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree (graduate degree a plus)
  • 3+ years of software development project management experience utilizing the Agile development methodology.
  • Experienced working in collaborative environments
  • Strong understanding on modern web design principles, patterns and best practices
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to review code.
  • Proven experience in both small and medium size teams
  • Experience with Git, Scrum (JIRA preferred)
  • Experience with NodeJS

Web Designer

ClassLink is a leading education technology company serving schools around the world.  This is an exciting opportunity to support the Marketing Department of one the fastest growing companies in Education Technology. We’re looking for a candidate who has created and maintained functional, attractive websites for companies with 50+ employees. We want to talk to you if your portfolio includes clean, modern, responsive websites with excellent navigational structures. If you stay current with the latest in web design and development trends, you’d be a great fit for this position.  This role will engage with senior leadership, including the CEO, and report directly to the Director of Marketing.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Complete redesign and maintenance of our website on either Squarespace or WordPress.
  • Implement and maintain high-quality SEO policies and incorporate them with content produced for the website.
  • Create mock-ups for proposed project pages and update them as needed
  • Formatting and design/branding of HTML emails

 Qualifications and Experience

  • Personal Portfolio with at least 5 designs for internal review
  • 2+ years’ professional (paid) web design experience
  • Advanced HTML/CSS
  • Advanced Photoshop and Illustrator skills
  • Fundamentals of design imaging
  • Knowledge of content marketing a plus
  • Editing for video and audio

Marketing Coordinator

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator with strong project management, communication, and organization skills. This role is integral in owning all logistics and marketing promotion for sponsored/attended conferences, trade shows, and events.  This person will work closely with the Director of Marketing and take ownership of various projects and department processes.  The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who will quickly become autonomous and capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Management of conference logistics and trade shows, ranging from invite-only sponsored meetings to large-scale trade shows.
    • Create detailed planning documents and act as company liaison to coordinate with conference organizers.
  • Cooperate with management and sales in the development of marketing programs and criteria to achieve sales goals.
  • Strong understanding of traditional, digital, and emerging marketing channels including the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, creative writing, and marketing production.
  • Assist in designing and developing marketing and promotional materials.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in a Marketing/Communications position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
  • Must have strong attention to detail, excellence in execution, with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” and “get it done” mentality
  • Strong project management and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Compelling communicator with strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Bonus points for advanced experience with any or all of the following: Adobe AI or PS, and HTML/CSS.

Executive Assistant to CEO

The ideal person will have a high degree of professionalism and experience working within a fast paced setting that involves rapid correspondence, use of many online tools, online research and organization of information, exposure to sensitive information requiring the use of tact, diplomacy, discretion, judgment, and independent decision-making.

Major Responsibilities

  • Schedule meetings and appointments, ensure meeting areas are prepared and meals are provided when appropriate. Ensure all meeting materials, if any, are delivered to all participants in advance
  • Manage correspondence while helping to build and maintain relationships
  • Arrange travel and prepare travel information packets
  • Keep online files organized on office network folders and online drive folders
  • Research information for presentations and reports
  • Effective use of tools like Microsoft Office and Google suite
    • Join meetings and take notes
    • Answer calls, texts and emails outside of normal business hours
    • Order office supplies

Requirements
A. Education/Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree (graduate degree a plus)
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and executive assistant skills (formal training a plus)
  • Expert online research skills and ability to learn new tools quickly (strong social media use a plus)
  • Creative problem solving and critical thinking skills

B. Experience

  • 5+ years executive assistant /administrative assistant experience at the senior executive level
  • Experience working in a fast paced, open-office-space, highly techy, and collaborative environment
  • Fluency in oral and written English (additionional languages are a plus)

Junior Programmer

Requirements:

-Have development experience, however, work experience is not required.

-Be familiar with an at least one imperative (C/C++, Java, Javascript, C#, Python, Ruby, etc.)

-Have good problem solving skills. We are looking for logical minds that can understand cause and effect and how to break down difficult problems. This is critical for programmers. The ability to solve difficult algorithms is not required.

-Understand basic control structures and elements of programs like loops, variables, functions, and potentially objects and classes.

-Interest in fullstack node js

-Be eager to learn.

-Take criticism well and be assertive enough to ask for help.

– 700 + Math SAT REQUIRED

Junior QA

Description

ClassLink is looking for an entry-level QA analyst to join our team..  The role will focus equally on regression, integration, system, and acceptance testing.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify and log defects in the system
  • Assist the development team in debugging and replicating issues
  • Create clear and concise detail-oriented test plans
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts
  • Light scripting

Qualifications and Experience

  • Working towards a BS in Computer Sciences or relevant field
  • Aptitude to learn new technologies
  • 700+ Math SAT preferred
  • Ability to work in self-managing atmosphere
  • Independent problem solving skills
  • Strong communication/presentation skills
  • Java
