Education Technology Sales Director – Higher Education

We are looking for a Education Technology Sales Director (Higher Education) with a proven record of strong higher education relationships in the US to join our team.  This person will work closely with the Senior Vice President of Sales and the CEO to build and nurture relationships with campus leaders.  The right candidate will be able to foster goodwill, make introductions, schedule meetings, conduct sales presentations, and help convey an understanding of the benefits of using ClassLink.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Become an expert on ClassLink
  • Make introductions with IT, provosts, and other leaders in higher education
  • Schedule online and onsite meetings with key decision makers
  • Confidently conduct demonstrations of ClassLink
  • Help develop positive relationships between ClassLink and influential partner organizations across the US
  • Help achieve successful implementations of ClassLink
  • Help achieve ClassLink sales targets
  • Present a professional image at all times to customers and partners

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years experience in a senior consultative/selling role
  • Contacts in the higher education space that you can immediately start working with
  • Extensive knowledge of higher education marketplace
  • Bachelor degree required, Masters or post grad degree a plus.
  • Work from home and willingness to travel throughout the US

Web Designer

ClassLink is a leading education technology company serving schools around the world.  This is an exciting opportunity to support the Marketing Department of one the fastest growing companies in Education Technology. We’re looking for a candidate who has created and maintained functional, attractive websites for companies with 50+ employees. We want to talk to you if your portfolio includes clean, modern, responsive websites with excellent navigational structures. If you stay current with the latest in web design and development trends, you’d be a great fit for this position.  This role will engage with senior leadership, including the CEO, and report directly to the Director of Marketing.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Complete redesign and maintenance of our website on either Squarespace or WordPress.
  • Implement and maintain high-quality SEO policies and incorporate them with content produced for the website.
  • Create mock-ups for proposed project pages and update them as needed
  • Formatting and design/branding of HTML emails

 Qualifications and Experience

  • Personal Portfolio with at least 5 designs for internal review
  • 2+ years’ professional (paid) web design experience
  • Advanced HTML/CSS
  • Advanced Photoshop and Illustrator skills
  • Fundamentals of design imaging
  • Knowledge of content marketing a plus
  • Editing for video and audio
  • Multimedia programming and technology

Junior QA

Description

ClassLink is looking for an entry-level QA analyst to join our team..  The role will focus equally on regression, integration, system, and acceptance testing.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify and log defects in the system
  • Assist the development team in debugging and replicating issues
  • Create clear and concise detail-oriented test plans
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts
  • Light scripting

Qualifications and Experience

  • Working towards a BS in Computer Sciences or relevant field
  • Aptitude to learn new technologies
  • 700+ Math SAT preferred
  • Ability to work in self-managing atmosphere
  • Independent problem solving skills
  • Strong communication/presentation skills
  • Java

Junior Programmer

Headquartered in Clifton, NJ, ClassLink is a leading education technology company serving schools around the world. We are looking for a Junior Programmer to work closely with our CTO to help create award winning cloud based technology solutions.

Requirements:

-Have development experience, however, work experience is not required.

-Be familiar with an at least one imperative (C/C++, Java, Javascript, C#, Python, Ruby, etc.)

-Have good problem solving skills. We are looking for logical minds that can understand cause and effect and how to break down difficult problems. This is critical for programmers. The ability to solve difficult algorithms is not required.

-Understand basic control structures and elements of programs like loops, variables, functions, and potentially objects and classes.

-Interest in fullstack node js

-Be eager to learn.

-Take criticism well and be assertive enough to ask for help.

– 700 + Math SAT REQUIRED
