Description

ClassLink is looking for a team player to work with our Controller on general accounting, payroll, billing and collections.  The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years experience working in a small company with a focus on payroll.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 1-2 years payroll experience
  • Superior excel skills
  • Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Quickbooks experience is a plus
  • Independent problem solving skills
  • Strong communication/presentation skills
  • BA, BS in accounting or business is required

Junior Security Auditor

Requirements

-Have development experience, however, work experience is not required.
-Be familiar with an at least one imperative (C/C++, Java, Javascript, C#, Python, Ruby, etc.)
-Have good problem solving skills. We are looking for logical minds that can understand cause and effect and how to break down difficult problems. This is critical for programmers. The ability to solve difficult algorithms is not required.
-Understand basic control structures and elements of programs like loops, variables, functions, and potentially objects and classes.
-Interest in front-end and back-end development.
-Be eager to learn.
-Take criticism well and be assertive enough to ask for help.
– 700 + Math SAT REQUIRED

QA Manager

Description

As the Manager, Quality Assurance of Software Engineering, you will plan, develop and execute the overall quality assurance strategy for ClassLink software product offerings. In this role, you will be expected to collaborate with Engineering, Product Management and Support teams to foster a team-based approach to high quality launches and drive appropriate changes in those organizations to ensure high quality deliverables. To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate leadership, coaching and mentoring skills combined with the flexibility of working in a dynamic, fast moving and fast growing product development environment.

Your Role

  • Reports to the CTO, develop a product testing strategy covering long term and short-term recommendations and actions.
  • Passionate about creating an enterprise-grade testing approach
  • Proactively maintain high quality standards through systematic metrics-driven test planning and test execution and driving continuous improvements appropriate KPIs
  • Influence through leadership a global team of engineers and software testers
  • Collaborate with team and ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements
  • Proactively provide functional, regression and integration testing of our products as well as certification across browsers and devices
  • Daily review and monitoring of de-risk activities from initiation through delivery
  • Define and own the QA methodology with metrics-driven continuous improvement; analyze metrics and implement continuous process improvement
  • Report current status and continuous improvement metrics

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of enterprise software product quality assurance experience including test planning, implementation and execution
  • 5 years of experience in a leadership and management position for multiple QA teams and multiple enterprise software products
  • Advanced working knowledge of QA processes and methodologies (Agile/Scrum)

What We Look For:

  • Develop a product testing strategy covering long term and short term recommendations and actions
  • Expertise in test planning, test case management, code coverage, defect analysis, and QA activities on multiple concurrent release releases across a set of products
  • Experience testing business solutions delivered on SaaS models
  • Planning, designing, implementation and use of automated test suites
  • Hands-on leader of test automation (using Selenium, Mocha, Cypress or other UI/API Automation frameworks) including development of data seeding, mocking, stubbing, scripting, and other techniques
  • Be a Quality Advocate and live and breathe technology
  • Manage multiple competing priorities while driving resolution and getting results
  • Collaborative but decisive personal style leader who is a highly effective communicator and problem solver
  • Must manage hands-on development and maintenance of test plans and test cases covering functional product, integration and automated and manual regression testing
  • Must review, assess scope, risk and coordinate application change management processes in compliance with policy and best practices
  • Must have previous Director experience and demonstrate good leadership by providing an objective, high energy, consistent work ethic that promotes respect for the individual
  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science

Highly Desirable Certifications:

  • Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) from ISTQB, the International Software Testing Qualifications Board.
  • Certified Software Tester (CSTE) from Software Certifications (a division of the Quality Assurance Institute)

Manager, School Data System Implementations

We are looking for a Manager of School Data System Implementations with strong experience working directly with student information systems to join our team.  This person will work closely with the VP of Education Success to implement our product (OneSync) that require integrations with student information systems, HR systems and other school based products.  The right candidate will have technical talent and be able to establish ongoing relationships with customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Become an expert on ClassLink products that involve student enrollment data
  • Install, configure, provide training and support our customers on select ClassLink products
  • Maintain relationships with customers through excellent communication skills
  • Serve as the product expert to support customer understanding and use of ClassLink products that involve student enrollment data
  • Confidently conduct demonstrations of select ClassLink products
  • Help achieve successful implementations
  • Attend conferences and engage with potential and current customers
  • Present a professional image at all times to customers and partners

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years experience in a senior technical role working with school based technical systems: SIS, HR, Active Directory, etc.
  • Project management skills necessary
  • Knowledge of K12 edtech marketplace
  • Superior communication and project management skills
  • Bachelor degree required, Masters or post grad degree a plus
  • Willingness to travel three to five times a year
