Sales and Marketing Data Analyst

Headquartered in Clifton, NJ, ClassLink is a leading education technology company serving schools around the world. We are looking for a Sales and Marketing Data Analyst, reporting directly to the CEO and will be responsible for all of ClassLink’s marketing data and using it to increase brand awareness, and growing the revenue pipeline. This position is responsible for all tradeshow data, and sales data as well. The position requires someone comfortable with data-driven marketing practices.

  • Research and analyze marketing and sales information to guide business strategy.
  • Organize and assist in implementing marketing plans.
  • Assume responsibility for management of marketing automation platform, Pardot, and contribute to ongoing improvements in use of Salesforce.com. This includes:
    • Maintaining and continually updating prospect data, including institutional and individual contact data
    • Procuring and tracking leads throughout the sales lifecycle, from lead acquisition to close
    • Working closely with sales and client services to ensure consistent use of best marketing automation and CRM practices
  • Design and implement ongoing demand generation campaigns, largely email-based, that employ current best practices and consistently achieve or exceed performance benchmarks.
  • Coordinate closely with sales organization
  • Produce ongoing social media activities that build brand awareness and contribute to the sales pipeline. This includes staying current with best practices, level-setting expectations for social media activity and contributions, and regularly reporting on performance.
  • Oversee management of conferences and tradeshows
  • Manage, input, organize and report on all tradeshow sales data
  • Report marketing progress via periodic dashboards to company leadership

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a preferred concentration in Business / Marketing / Sales / Management /Finance / Communications Marketing with at least 2 years experience
  • Experience in the Education Technology Industry is a plus
  • Proficiency with analytical data manipulation using MS Excel is a MUST
  • Proficiency with MS Word & PowerPoint
  • Knowledge & experience in social media platforms and creative programs (Illustrator, Photo Shop, etc.) is a plus
  • Excellent project management skills: ability to manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail, flexible, adaptable, & creative
  • CRM experience: Specific, in depth knowledge of Salesforce.com; Knowledge of Pardot preferred, though not required.
  • Writing and speaking: Clear, effective communicator comfortable in a variety of settings and formats.

Marketing Manager

We are looking for a Marketing Manager, reporting directly to the CEO and will be responsible for developing and executing a clearly defined marketing and communications strategy focused on increasing brand awareness, growing the revenue pipeline, closing new business, and supporting renewal business. This position is responsible for all aspects of planning, organization, staffing, training, and reporting for the marketing group. The position requires someone comfortable with data-driven marketing practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, manage, and execute all marketing strategies and tactical plans that meet or exceed company expectations
  • Manage staff part-time and freelance marketing professionals in areas of copywriting, design, and multi-media
  • Develop and prepare key messaging and supporting materials that amplify the company’s value and achieve high a degree of relevance and context for customers.
  • Assume responsibility for management of marketing automation platform, Pardot, and contribute to ongoing improvements in use of Salesforce.com. This includes:
    • Maintaining and continually updating prospect data, including institutional and individual contact data
    • Procuring and tracking leads throughout the sales lifecycle, from lead acquisition to close
    • Working closely with sales and client services to ensure consistent use of best marketing automation and CRM practices
  • Design and implement ongoing demand generation campaigns, largely email-based, that employ current best practices and consistently achieve or exceed performance benchmarks.
  • Coordinate closely with sales organization, including direct collaboration with newly executives and coordination with inside sales and outsourced telesales operations.
  • Produce ongoing social media activities that build brand awareness and contribute to the sales pipeline. This includes staying current with best practices, level-setting expectations for social media activity and contributions, and regularly reporting on performance.
  • Oversee management of of conferences and tradeshows, ranging from invite-only sponsored meetings to large-scale tradeshows.
  • Work in concert with company’s client services and fulfillment team to execute branding, utilization, and renewal campaigns in support of renewal and up-sell growth.
  • Report marketing progress via periodic dashboards to company leadership

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience: 6-8 years experience in marketing, ideally including 2+ years working specifically in education markets.
  • Demonstrable track recording managing multiple projects.
  • CRM experience: Specific, in depth knowledge of Salesforce.com; Knowledge of Pardot preferred, though not required.
  • Writing and speaking: Clear, effective communicator comfortable in a variety of settings and formats, from company meetings and management discussions to in-person customer presentations.
  • Track record: A proven ability to lead a proactive, high performing marketing organization that demonstrably supports company growth.

VP of Educational Technology (Northeast)

We are looking for a Vice President of Instructional Technology with a proven record of strong school district relationships in the Northeast to join our team. This person will work closely with the Chief Academic Officer and CEO to build and nurture relationships with school district leaders. The right candidate will be able to foster goodwill, make introductions, schedule meetings, conduct sales presentations, and help convey an understanding of the benefits of using ClassLink in the classroom.

Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert on ClassLink
  • Make introductions with curriculum and technology leaders at the district level
  • Schedule online and onsite meetings with key decision makers
  • Confidently conduct demonstrations of ClassLink
  • Help develop positive relationships between ClassLink and influential partner organizations across the Northeast
  • Help achieve successful implementations of ClassLink

  • Present a professional image at all times to customers and partners

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5 + years experience in a senior consultative/selling role
  • 5 + years experience in a classroom, school/district leadership role
