Add License Information for All Resources
The Analytics+ Costs page now supports adding license information for all resource types—not just traditional apps.
This now includes:
• Apps
• Mobile apps
• Domains
• Mobile domains
What that means
Districts can track cost, usage, and ROI for a much wider range of digital tools, including resources not connected through ClassLink. Whether it’s a commonly used website, a non-ClassLink mobile app, or any digital tool outside the ecosystem, you can now log license details and evaluate value.

This broadens your visibility into spending and impact, helping you assess the cost-effectiveness of every digital tool your district licenses, not just those tied into LaunchPad.
More Ways to Merge Duplicate Users
Cleaning up duplicate accounts is now simpler and more flexible. Roster Server now lets you merge users with any single-value field including, email, student ID, employee ID, and more.
Previously, merges were limited to a narrow set of identifiers. With this update, especially when paired with Preprocessor transforms, you have more control when preparing data before import.

This leads to smoother imports, fewer conflicts, and cleaner, more reliable data from day one.

New String-Handling Functions for Preprocessor Transforms
Two new functions—TRIM_BEFORE_FIRST and TRIM_AFTER_LAST—give you greater precision when shaping strings during preprocessing.
Quick overview:
- TRIM_BEFORE_FIRST: Removes everything before (and including) the first matched character.
Example: bob@classlink.com → slink.com - TRIM_AFTER_LAST: Removes everything after (and including) the last matched character.
Example: bob@classlink.com → bob@class
These functions are especially useful when cleaning up email formats, trimming IDs, or removing prefixes and suffixes.

Cleaner data going in means fewer errors, less manual cleanup, and more consistent records across systems.

Manage Roster Server Access Through Security Roles
Admins now have a centralized, more controlled way to manage who can access Roster Server through Security Roles in the CMC.
What’s new:
- Security Roles assigned in the CMC automatically appear in Roster Server’s General Settings.
- Existing roles inside Roster Server (like Teacher or Student) still work, but new roles must now be created in the CMC.
- Roles inside Roster Server are now read-only, users can be removed, but role creation and management happen exclusively in the CMC.

Manual Overrides
Manual Overrides are now available for most Modify Data attributes, so you can make quick, one-off changes without extra setup. These updates apply instantly, making it easier to spot-check and confirm that everything looks just right.
How it Helps You
- Faster fixes for edge cases: Change attributes for individual users directly in Modify Data, no need to create new Metadata fields for small batches.
- Instant feedback: Overrides apply right away, so you can immediately verify the impact of your changes.
For larger or bulk updates, your existing Modify Data tools and Layer transforms are still the best way to go.

LaunchPad Dynamic Theme Now Available for All
Bring a new level of personalization to LaunchPad with Dynamic Theme, now available for everyone. From organizing folders and adding widgets (coming soon) to customizing layouts and quick links, users can now shape an interactive, organized, and uniquely tailored workspace.
