Step Up Data Security With Two New Security Reports

December 12, 2022
Back to Blog

We’re improving the ClassLink Management Console (CMC)! As part of that work, we’ve added a new Security Report section in the CMC that will give you loads of useful security-focused information.

For phase one of this upgrade, we’ve added two new security reports you can use to help enforce security policies. (Watch for more reports coming soon!).

Password Recovery Reports

Use these reports to view—at a user level—which password recovery methods are available and enabled for users. These reports can help you understand if your password recovery policies are being followed across your district.

Multi-Factor Authentication Report

Now you can see—at a user level—which MFA methods are available and enabled for each user. Use these reports to help you enforce MFA policies and know if the correct methods are enabled and being used.

*You can search these reports for a specific user or filter by Building, Profile, or Group.
You can also download a CSV version of these reports for quick analysis.

Watch a Walk-Through

Let our LaunchPad Product Manager, Emilio Vargas walk you through both reports in detail in this on-demand session from CLAS 2022. (Please note you will need to register for CLAS to access the recording.)
