ClassLink Announces Partnership with The Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) to Bring Single Sign-On Solution to Western Massachusetts Schools

ClassLink, the leader in single sign-on, class rostering, and learning resource analytics, announced a strategic partnership with The Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) of Western Massachusetts. The Collaborative for Educational Services (CES) is a non-profit educational service agency, committed to reaching and educating learners of all ages, and experienced in working with educators to help students learn and succeed. They work closely with 36 member public school districts in Hampshire and Franklin Counties as well as with schools, school districts, educators, educational organizations, families, and a range of community, foundation, and business partners across the Commonwealth to enhance educational opportunities for children, youth, and adults with a focus on those at risk of failure. The core mission of fostering educational excellence and opportunity for all learners through collaboration and leadership is at the forefront of their decision to partner with ClassLink.

“We’re enthusiastic about this partnership with ClassLink,” stated Angela Burke, Director of Technology at CES. Burke continued, “Together, we will present an innovative single sign-on solution to our schools that eliminates the need for students and teachers to log in to each application. The fact that a single dashboard contains all their digital resources is such a huge benefit, making access easy and returning lost instructional time to the classroom.”

Bob Chappell, Vice President of Instructional Technology at ClassLink echoed this excitement. “Working with CES will open doors to Massachusetts schools looking to leverage single sign-on to access their digital learning tools.”

ClassLink offers the following features that will address the technology needs of the Western Massachusetts schools:

  • ClassLink LaunchPad enables single sign-on access to over 6,000 programs including web, Windows, and Google applications, and instant access to files at school and in the cloud. ClassLink users receive a personalized dashboard showing all of their connected resources and applications in one single view.
  • ClassLink Roster Server easily and securely delivers class rosters to any publisher using open technology standards.
  • ClassLink Analytics gives decision makers the usage data they need to make a better-informed decision about the resources they use.

CES is among a growing number of service agencies that are partnering with ClassLink to bring next-generation technologies to their schools. Intermediate units interested in working with ClassLink can contact the company via www.classlink.com/contact/.
