Insights: Connect app usage with student outcomes
Insights has arrived! The platform brings together ClassLink application usage and your school system’s assessment data to help you explore how digital-tool use relates to student growth.
Compare patterns across student groups, review usage alongside assessment results, and export an Executive Summary PDF to share with your leadership team.
See how app usage connects with student growth
When you’re reviewing instructional resources or preparing for renewals, usage tells you only part of the story. Insights helps you see which resources are associated with score growth and which patterns deserve a closer look. Those relationships can guide your next questions and decisions.

LaunchPad: Get ready for the new My Files
The newly redesigned My Files experience gives you more control over how students and staff connect to their files. Configure available storage providers by role, set approved domains, and choose how many accounts people can connect.
Prep students and staff for the switch
You can set up file access around the accounts your school system supports. Letting students and staff know about the reconnection step ahead of time helps them prepare for the switch.
Dig into My Files resources
- Configure the My Files experience in the CMC dashboard
- Use My Files to access and manage your digital files
CMC: Manage Partner Access Windows
Partner Access Windows let you review and control requests for temporary access to protected roster data directly from Controlled Access in Security Center. Partners see masked previews by default and can submit a request that identifies the vendor, requested duration, and reason for access.
Decide who gets access and for how long
When a partner needs access, you can review the request in context and decide how long access should last. DataGuard protections remain in place outside the approved window.

Roster Server: Choose what to restore from a backup
Updated backup and restore tools let you select the configuration sections you want to restore. Compare current and backup counts before you begin, then follow progress for each section. Roster Server also creates an automatic safety backup before restoring.
Restore the parts of your configuration you need
If you need to recover part of your configuration, you can focus the restore on those sections. Reviewing the counts first gives you a clearer picture of what you’re about to restore.
