Headquartered in Clifton, NJ, ClassLink is a leading education technology company serving schools around the world. We are looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to play a critical role in supporting our digital strategy including lead generation activities for the company as part of the Marketing team. This position will have the opportunity to create compelling content for a broad array of channels, including website, email, infographics, case studies, whitepapers, video scripts and more, for a leading education technology company experiencing hyper-growth.

As a Content Marketing Specialist for ClassLink, you will be responsible for creating brand-appropriate content for our target audience (CIO’s, Technology Directors at school districts around the world), across all stages of the sales cycle.

  • Masterful storyteller – create compelling storylines and oversee content for webinars, website, and email campaigns
  • Develop thought leadership content in our space
  • Create diverse marketing content for differing cohorts of our target audience - to build awareness, increase engagement and drive leads
  • Drive the development of collateral for sales/partner enablement, scripts for videos, press releases, blog entries, social media platforms, FAQs, and for other external and internal communication channels
  • Use SEO best practices and leverage keywords in content development
  • Create, ghostwrite, or edit content produced by other members of the team
  • Coordinate the updating and distribution of marketing materials
  • Follow the brand voice and guidelines when generating content
  • Revise and improve content on an ongoing basis
  • Ensure messaging consistency across channels
  • Maintain a content calendar
  • Plan for monthly emails and blog posts
  • Interview thought leaders and clients as necessary to collect input for content
  • This position is not remote, it is based in our Clifton, NJ Headquarters.


  • 2-3 years of experience in copywriting; specifically technical/software business writing
  • Experience in, interest in, or willingness to learn the Education Technology industry
  • Proven track record of success in developing lead-generating and sales-enabling marketing materials
  • Experience creating both long-form (e.g., white papers, case studies) and short-form campaigns (email, blog)
  • Knowledge of content marketing landscape is recommended but not required
  • Writing samples or portfolio link required
