Curriculum Pathways® and ClassLink Collaborate to Improve Curriculum Access
Free curriculum from SAS available through education’s preeminent single sign-on platform
Clifton, NJ – November 21, 2017 – ClassLink, the leader in single sign-on, class rostering, and learning resource analytics, has announced a strategic relationship with Curriculum Pathways, the award-winning free web-based curriculum from SAS.
ClassLink empowers students and teachers with instant access to their learning resources, including a library of over 5,000 single sign-on apps and instant links to file folders at school and on Google, Office 365, and Dropbox cloud drives. With new sign-on methods, users can now use QR code-enabled QuickCards, facial recognition, or remote login. ClassLink Roster Server™ easily and securely delivers class rosters to any publisher using open technology standard, such as OneRoster™ from IMS Global Learning Consortium. Included with the ClassLink Suite, ClassLink Analytics gives decision makers the usage data they need.
Lee Ellen Harmer, Outreach and Collaborations Manager for Curriculum Pathways at SAS, noted that the ClassLink relationship aligns to the organization’s mission, “ClassLink helps us fulfill our goal of making a world-class curriculum available to millions of students and teachers. Not only is their technology among the best in K-12 education, but their partnership model also encourages real collaboration among providers to make sure schools and districts have what they need to be successful.”
Curriculum Pathways® features tools, apps, lessons, data sets and primary sources that enable technology-rich instruction and engage higher-order thinking skills for students in K-12 and beyond. Designed for a wide range of classroom environments, technology capabilities and learning styles, Curriculum Pathways can be used flexibly – in a one-computer classroom, in small groups, or in 1:1 computing initiatives, where every student and teacher has access to a computer or mobile device.
Jim McVety, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at ClassLink, lauded the partnership, noting that Curriculum Pathways from SAS is a global leader influencing education at local levels. “Everyone wins when a company like SAS makes a sustained commitment to education. Given the quality of their educational offerings and the dedication to doing right by education, we are proud to be their partner in an effort to bring world-class learning resources to schools.”
ClassLink was recently named the Best K-12 Enterprise Solution of 2017 by SIIA, in part because of its ability to enable access to solutions like Curriculum Pathways. The company charges no fees to partners for integration and uses open technology standards to facilitate access to applications. This means partner providers can integrate with ClassLink at relatively little cost and avoid assessing school districts with unnecessary fees. By committing to a collaborative, sustainable partnership model, ClassLink has become the preferred single sign-on and rostering partner for a growing number of education providers across the US and around the globe.
