ClassLink Courses
One of our education experts comes to your site to train every teacher,
student and administrator to use the Universal Learning Suite. We
begin with an orientation that even novice technology users can enjoy
and offer an increasing range of elective professional development
courses to reinforce learning. Classes are held in the computer labs
and/or media centers and are scheduled according to the school's calendar.
Classes do not address a specific curriculum area or grade level,
but do address the need of technology in the classroom.
Student Training
Our trainers provide students with a hands-on orientation of the Universal
Learning Suite. Students learn how to access files and applications
from anywhere at anytime as well as how to review their electronic
portfolio and current assignments.
Teacher Training
Highlights of this workshop include electronic lesson planning, real
time collaboration and easy management of student accounts. Our trainers
provide effective methods for integrating technology into the K-12
classroom.
Network Administrator Training
School technologists review the tools in the Universal Learning Suite
that are designed to manage, monitor and customize the ClassLink System.
Distance Learning
The Universal Learning Suite simplifies distance learning by providing
remote access to desktops. Whether teachers are at home or a remote
location, they can log in and have access to the same applications
and information as if they were still at school. Instructional materials
can be made immediately available in shared folders. Additionally,
if questions arise, the instructor can take control of the user's
desktop remotely to demonstrate answers.
Parents and Community Members
ClassLink offers an orientation and training session for parent night.
Parents learn to log-in to the Universal Learning Suite and access
their child's work samples and teacher comments. They experience first-hand
the benefits of the system and learn how to assist their students
at home.
