Overview

Course Description:

Multimedia literally means "many, or more than one, media." Multimedia can be further described as a presentation which itself consists of two or more types of media. The primary consideration for using multimedia is the active involvement of the student-producers of the presentations, and even the student audience of the presentations. Tap into student creativity:

• Appeal to different learning styles
• Engage the multiple intelligences
• Provide a variety of means of expression for students
• Give students real-world presentation experience
• Add characteristics such as animations, sound, graphics, and video clips to create

This course will demonstrate methods in which to create powerful multimedia presentations to captivate your audience!

Course Goals/Objectives:

• Create a customized template
• Insert charts and action buttons
• Add speaker notes
• Use time rehearsals and narration tools
• Deliver a presentation
