Overview

Course Description:

Why re-invent the wheel? Use the web to help save you time and effort when planning high quality lesson plans complete with engaging student activities such as projects and worksheets.

This workshop introduces you to Internet search tools while helping you understand how and when to use them to find educationally valuable resources. Once found, you will learn book marking techniques designed to help you easily save, organize and re-access the most valuable resources you discover.

Course Goals/Objectives:

• Review lesson plan basics (structure and purpose)
• Compare “good” vs. “bad” lesson plans
• Discuss buying and selling online lesson plans
• Create bookmarks/favorites
• Access lesson plan databases
• Search by subject area, grade level, etc.
