Curriculum Mapping & ClassLink OnTrack
Overview
Course Description:
How do teachers who work in the same grade level or subject areas
maintain consistent coursework for all students? With the OnTrack™
Curriculum Mapping module, teachers can keep track of exactly what
content should be addressed during the school year. The curriculum
map is broken down by content area, grade level and units of study.
It also includes state standards, key concepts, resources, strategies
for implementation, activities, assessment methods and lessons.
Objectives:
- Define a Curriculum Map
- Identify the purpose and expectations in designing a Curriculum
Map
- Create Units of Study and Subunits of Study
o Align standards
o Describe key concepts
o Include resources
o Illustrate methods of implementation
o Provide sample activities
o Present forms of assessment
o Review submitted lessons
