Overview
Course Description:
Using application servers, the ClassLink Information Console’s (CLiC™) management interface empowers IT staff to centrally deploy and monitor applications across the entire district and to the home. Technologists no longer have to hear complaints of limited access, inconsistency and lack of reliability. Schools can now manage and monitor many more workstations than before and provide 24/7 access to students and staff. Plus, ClassLink technicians are always available to support me as needed!
Course Goals/Objectives:
- Examine the technical tools in CLiC™ that are designed
to manage, monitor and customize your ClassLink System
- Learn how to have access to the system from anywhere at anytime
- Review the robust features available to students and teachers
Materials:
To participate in this course, you will need the following:
- Internet connected computer
- ClassLink username and password
ISTE-NETS Standards Connection:
I. TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONS AND CONCEPTS.
Teachers demonstrate a sound understanding of technology operations
and concepts. Teachers:
• Demonstrate introductory knowledge, skills, and understanding
of concepts related to technology (as described in the ISTE National
Education Technology Standards for Students)
• Demonstrate continual growth in technology knowledge and
skills to stay abreast of current and emerging technologies.
