Farimah Schuerman honored for her marketing vision, dedication, and leadership

DENVER (July 26, 2006) – Farimah Schuerman, Managing Partner of Academic Business Advisors, is the recipient of the Pinnacle Award, one of the QED Ed Marketer Excellence Awards that recognizes innovative, dedicated, and inspiring individuals in the field of education marketing. Quality Education Data (QED), a Scholastic company, announced the award winners during the 11th Annual QED Forum held July 17-19 in Denver. The Ed Marketer Excellence awards program began three years ago to acknowledge the outstanding contributions of marketing leaders in the education industry. No other awards program recognizes education marketing professionals exclusively.

The Pinnacle Mentoring Award honors the individual who fosters and actively supports the development and growth of colleagues in the field of education marketing. Ms. Schuerman was selected according to several criteria:

"The award winners have surpassed the expectations of their colleagues, pushed the boundaries of marketing thought, and delivered exemplary marketing results,” said Andy Lacy, general manager of QED. “Their hard work and exceptional achievements define best practices in education marketing as they’ve successfully communicated how their organization’s products and services meet the needs of educators and students.”
Farimah has been vital to the success of ClassLink Inc through her oversight and guidance to the organization over the past two years and she was elected to the Board of Directors in 2005. She has provided invaluable advice on a variety of disciplines including Marketing, Management, and Strategy
