ClassLink CEO Berj Akian Wins EdTech Digest Visionary Leadership Award
CLIFTON, NJ, November 18, 2011 — ClassLink is proud to announce that their leader and CEO, Berj Akian, has won EdTech Digest’s 2011 Visionary Award. The Visionary Award recognizes those leaders looking ahead, setting forth a vision and then getting it done. Akian founded ClassLink in 1998 with a goal to create a strong foundation for the expansion of technology in education. Knowing that a great carpenter is only masterful with the right tools, Berj set out to improve education through building the best tools for students and teachers. Prior to paving a new foundation for technology in the educational realm, Berj was with Technology Crossover Ventures, a leading mezzanine venture capital firm. Previous to TCV, he specialized in restructurings and attest services for large technology and educational publishing clients with Arthur Andersen.
