ClassLink is Finalist for Two CODiE Awards
Clifton, NJ, March 1, 2010 – ClassLink is pleased to announce recognition by the prestigious CODiE awards for the sixth consecutive year. The 25th Annual CODiE awards, sponsored by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIAA), celebrate outstanding achievement and vision in the software industry. Since 2005 ClassLink products have received thirteen CODiE finalist and three CODiE winner awards.
ClassLink received 2010 finalist recognition this week for:
- ClassLink ClassMate® – Best Classroom Management Solution, the category for which ClassMate was a 2009 CODiE winner
- ClassLink Inquiry™ – Best Education Solution for Mobile or Hand-held Device
“We work hard to solicit client ideas and user feedback for all our products. We even go as far as polling groups of users and taking a vote!†affirms ClassLink CEO Berj Akian. “We always tell the educators who use our products that these are their awards and the recognition is theirs as much as ours because their guidance helps mold our products. We’re especially pleased that Inquiry, our newest product designed to provide instructional technology usage reporting, is a first time finalist.â€
Nominated products underwent an extensive review by subject matter experts, analysts, journalists and others with deep experience in the field; each of the 31 categories was narrowed from the 458 overall nominations to (in most cases) three finalist products.
“This is the twentyâ€fifth year we have recognized excellence in the software, education and information industries through the CODiE Awards program,†noted Ken Wasch, President of SIIA. “In this economic climate, companies are doing even more to innovate. ClassLink has demonstrated a commitment to innovation and quality that is reflected in their selection as a finalist for the CODiE Awards. I am pleased and proud to have them listed among the candidates, and I wish them the best in the final round of voting.â€
