Recently released Technology Counts Survey by Education Week magazine reviewed technology access, internet connectivity, technology standards, teacher preparedness and much more across the U.S.

This year’s report, dubbed A Digital Decade, ranked all 50 states based on a matrix of technology accomplishment.

Critical findings of the report include two new challenges for technology integration in education. These recently identified trends may negatively impact the success of a school’s instructional technology.

One of these trends is the statistically significant demographic divide in technology and Internet access from home.
