Bring Your Own (BYO): Crawl, Walk, Run

Bring Your Own Technology initiatives are top of mind for school administrators everywhere this year. Regardless of size, location or demographics, schools across the nation need to improve learning and they acknowledge that technology can help. Today's budget realities require new approaches.  The paradigm shift of allowing student/teacher owned devices leave administrators wondering how to best create safe and improved learning environments.

Our surveys show that among BYO - Top 5 Considerations, Policy and Pedagogy are top of mind:

  • How do we crawl, then walk, then run with BYO?

  • How will BYO impact the classroom?

  • What will change?

  • How do you get Organizational Buy-in?

  • What technology infrastructure is needed to support BYO?

In this session you will learn insights on change management and how other schools have implemented their own BYO programs. Hear from industry experts on how they navigated change in their districts and got started with their own crawl, walk, run with BYO.

Our panelists for this session include:

  • Leslie Wilson, Chief Executive Officer, One-to-One Institute
