A recent eSchool News article, “FY11 Budget Plan Folds Ed Tech into New Program,” examines education funding in President Obama’s proposed 2011 budget.  As the article explains, the Enhancing Education Through Technology (EETT) program ‘would be consolidated with several other grant programs into a new initiative called Effective Teaching and Learning for a Complete Education.’

The new initiative would focus on:

• Well-Rounded Education (arts, foreign languages, civics and government, history, geography, economics, financial literacy)
