ClassLink recently had the opportunity to interview one of the authors of the survey, Jeanne Hayes, a nationally-recognized innovator and practitioner in ubiquitous technology.  You may recognize Ms. Hayes as the co-author of two earlier important educational surveys, America’s Digital Schools 2006 and America’s Digital Schools 2008.

Early findings include:

• 78% of respondents noted substantial paperwork reduction through data mapping and reducing redundant systems
• 66% show noticeable cost reductions in paper and copy machine expenses
• 2 to 1 improvements on high stakes test scores are reported
