Mask PII and Only Share Necessary Data

DataGuard is a ClassLink Roster Server upgrade that empowers schools to take control of the data they share with vendors. Instead of giving vendor partners all the Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of your students and staff, share only essential data and mask all other key fields. DataGuard helps you minimize the security risks associated with data sharing because sensitive PII is always protected.

DataGuard is a new Roster Server upgrade available for ClassLink customers to purchase as part of our advanced IAM suite.

Share Responsibly

When sharing student and staff PII data with vendors, less is more. DataGuard helps schools protect student PII when sharing class rosters with vendor partners. DataGuard is best suited for rostered applications that require collecting PII data but don’t necessarily need it.

Protect Key PII Fields

Protecting Personally Identifiable Information is crucial for schools sharing roster data with vendors. DataGuard allows you to mask key PII fields, including first, last, middle, and class names, using dynamic letter scrambles. You’ll gain peace of mind knowing sensitive information is protected.

Minimize Risks

Sharing sensitive PII data can make your school more vulnerable to cyberattacks, especially if there’s a data breach outside your school environment. DataGuard helps you minimize the risks associated with data sharing and protects your schools against cybercriminals.
