Online District Registration Portal
CTE’s face a unique challenge in managing the process of scheduling students into a variety of courses and classes from multiple school districts. Traditionally, this process has occurred using a paper-based application process, where counselors from each district would hand-write the names, addresses, and demographic data of students, who wish to schedule for one or more courses at the CTE. With ClassMate’s innovative Online District Registration Portal, this method of shuffling papers and manual data entry is eliminated for both District and CTE’s counselors alike!

A word from the first school in New York State to implement ClassMate data management:
âAs the first school in New York State to utilize the ClassMate data management system ClassLink should be commended for their exemplary efforts in providing excellent service and resources and making ClassMate a model data management system for CTE (career & technical education) in New York State. Implementation of the ClassMate system at Sullivan BOCES has raised the level of accountability for our staff, added credibility to our programs, and has âtaken the blinders offâ for administrators in looking at program and student data.
The commitment, leadership and dedication of Kathy Ritch and her staff has been instrumental in our success in using ClassMate. The ability to produce customized reports and data in more efficient and accurate manner has gained much recognition from local and state agencies. The ClassMate staff and the service they provide defines âgoing above and beyond.â A few noteworthy components: the arranged user groups, webinars, written documentation and the Lunch & Learn sessions are most impactful. Together, these working parts form true results.â
Deborah Theysohn, Supervisor Career and Technical Education
Sullivan County BOCES
âI was most impressed with the vast knowledge of vocational education throughout the ClassMate personnel. They are willing to help in anyway and also willing to listen to ideas you may have to improve their system. The system was a wise choice for our school and I will highly recommend their product to others.â
Mr. Kurt Lynch, Director of Vocational Education
Schuylkill Technology Center
âOur work with ClassMate has been one of the most transformative processes Iâve ever experienced,â said Gene Silverman, Executive Director, Regional Schools and Instructional Programming, Nassau BOCES. âIt was a profound game changer for our BOCES that is continuing today. We now have a very thoughtful process between teachers, administrators and staff that is entirely focused on studentsâ needs and the outcomes we want. ClassMate has shifted the thinking of our group of educators.â
âThe professionalism, expertise and caring of the staff at ClassLink is as important to me as the product itself,â continued Silverman. âOur work is often difficult and challenging, requiring a unique framework and close working relationships. ClassLink listens to our needs, values them, and includes them in our future ClassMate upgrades.â
Gene Silverman, Executive Director
