1. How much is ClassSync?

ClassSync allows you to import and correlate users with your SiS extract. This download is the complete software package, contact a sales representative for a license key and pricing starting at only $279 for up to 499 students!!

2. What is included in the download?
The full product which allows you to run the program.

3. Is there a difference between the ClassSync product download and the product I’d get in a box?

No.

4. What will the product cost after the first year? Am I obligated to renew?

ClassSync is a subscription based product. You are not obligated to renew but given the time savings and great functionality in the product we hope you will.

5. Is there product support?
The download includes a user manual and 2 hours of coaching and setup for FREE via telephone or email support. Additional support, training and installation services are available for a fee.

6. Do I have to purchase a support plan?  
No, but since we can help answer all of your AD questions in addition to ClassSync software questions, we do recommend that you consider purchasing the 1-year expanded support plan.

7. Beyond ClassSync software questions, what kind of AD questions will you help me with? 
Our Microsoft Active Directory experts can help with questions related to group policy, security groups, user profiles, home folder, organization units, subdomains, and domain replication.

8. What are the telephone hours of the help desk?
8am - 9pm Eastern Time

9. How long does my license last? What happens at the end of the license?
Your ClassSync license lasts for one year. You’ll receive a renewal notice toward the end of the license year and be offered the opportunity to renew your license and support for a fee.

10. Is training necessary? Is it available and at what cost?
Training and installation services are available at a flat fee of $1250/day.

11. Can I upgrade support later?
Yes, however buying enhanced support now may avoid future price increases, which are usually 3% each year.

12. Can I make a backup copy of the software?
Yes, or you can just download the setup program again. It is important to make a copy of your license key if you want to install ClassSync on additional machines.

13. After I download the software, can I uninstall it? 
To uninstall ClassSync, go to Add/Remove Programs and select uninstall.

14. Am I going to be charged for anything else? Are you going to try to sell me other products?  
There are absolutely no hidden charges. As a ClassLink software user, we will contact you from time-to-time in the future to tell you about ClassSync enhancements and new products that are of interest to IT professionals.

15. How do I install ClassSync?  How do I uninstall the ClassSync?
After you install ClassSync, simple double click the setup package and it will guide you through the installation procedure.

To uninstall ClassSync, go to Add/Remove Programs and select uninstall.

16. What are the software and hardware requirements?

Windows 2000, 2003, XP, Vista or higher with .Net 1.1 or higher installed.
